My Approach to Making Your Dreams Come True

The purchase or sale of real estate is a complex transaction with many moving parts, it is important for a consumer or seller to have a trusted advisor by their side during this pivotal time in their life. I never forget that my job for each of my clients is to be that trusted advisor. I will always take care to keep them informed of the market data as well as the information specific to their home, whether they're purchasing or selling. I take my role very seriously for all of my customers and consider each of them my number one goal, before during and after the transaction process.

About Me

I have been a resident of Jacksonville for nearly 30 years, having moved here from a small town in the mid-west, I have grown to love our great city, and the surrounding areas. I feel I have held onto my small town principals while acquiring an open mind that can only be developed when residing in a multi-cultural environment like Jacksonville. I became a Realtor after nearly 20 years as an accounting professional; the change was driven by my desire to create lasting relationships and to help people through such a transitional time in their lives. I have been enjoying doing just that for the past few years and have never regretted the decision to change careers. My philosophy is to make sure that I do all that I can to help my customers, and to always remember that their lives, goals and dreams are what is most important.  My desire is to continue to help people achieve their real estate goals and to continue advancing in this field through continuing education and learning something new from each person I have the good fortune to meet and serve.

In Closing

I believe that it is important to enjoy the things you do. I enjoy providing Real Estate services, and I believe that shows in the service I provide to my customers, as well as how I interact with other industry professionals. Working with my customers to achieve their dreams is both satisfying and humbling, I am truly blessed in that I have found a career that I believe in and enjoy every day. If you feel I could help you achieve your goals, please call, email or text me anytime (904) 566-4099

Mandarin FL Real Estate

Mandarin is a neighborhood located in the southernmost portion of Jacksonville, in Duval County, Florida. It is located on the eastern bank of the St. Johns River, across from Orange Park.

Mandarin is named after the Mandarin orange. Once called “a tropical paradise” by author Harriett Beecher Stowe, the quaint area of Mandarin is marked by its history, ancient oak trees draped with Spanish moss, beautiful parks, marinas and more water views than any other area in Jacksonville.

In the 1800s, Mandarin was a small farming village that shipped oranges, grapefruit, lemons and other fruits and vegetables to Jacksonville and points north on the steamships that traveled the St. Johns River. Mandarin, FL.

In 1867 the famous author of Uncle Tom's Cabin, Harriet Beecher Stowe bought a cottage here. For the next seventeen winters, she welcomed tourists debarking from the steamers making their way down the St. Johns River and charged them 75 cents each to meet her and admire her surroundings. Stowe, although best known for her novel Uncle Tom's Cabin about the cruelty of slavery, also wrote about Florida .

In 1968, the city of Jacksonville and most of Duval County formed a consolidated municipal unit. As part of this process, Mandarin ceased to exist as a political entity, and became part of the City of Jacksonville. While Mandarin now is just a small section of the City of Jacksonville, its natural beauty, parks and historic buildings draw visitors from around the world. Just a short drive south of Jacksonville’s city center, the community is bordered by Beauclerc to the north, Julington Creek to the south and St. John’s River to the west.

Today, Mandarin is an upscale suburban community with beautiful tree lined neighborhoods, large riverfront estates, and a family oriented quality of life. Mandarin is about the active lifestyle, with great schools, abundant recreational activities, and shopping of every kind. Mandarin is a wonderful place to live and experience everything Florida has to offer in beautiful, historic surroundings!

There are many wonderful homes in this area, but you need a local market expert to help you. Watson Realty Corp is a locally owned company with over 50 years experience selling homes in the area.
